Perched on Duckworth Street with the harbour below, The Bagel Cafe has earned its place in St. John’s mornings the honest way: fresh-boiled bagels, eggs done right, and plates built for Newfoundland appetites.
The menu reads like the province tastes — touton benedicts, fish cakes with brewis, molasses baked beans, and a burger topped with bologna that visitors photograph and locals simply order. It’s been voted the city’s best breakfast, but the real endorsement is the lineup on a Saturday morning.
